Biography

After earning my graduate degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2014, I furthered my education at the University of Kentucky and obtained a post-graduate certificate as a Psych-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2018. I have extensive experience providing primary care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including cases with comorbid addiction or psychiatric conditions. Through incorporating Jean Watson’s theory of “Human Caring” in my Doctorate of Nursing scholarly project, I have observed significant positive impacts on mental, spiritual, and physical health. I now utilize a compassionate therapeutic approach to address both physical and mental health needs and collaborate with other medical and psychiatric clinicians to provide optimal care for my clients.
