Biography

I’m a registered nurse with a passion for mental health, and a walk that’s apparently legendary- my coworkers can tell when things are about to get real just by the way I stroll onto the floor. Not to brag, but I graduated Tacoma Community College’s nursing program with high honors, on the Dean’s list. With 13 years of experience under my belt, I’ve worked with some amazing organizations, including Rainier State School, Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital, and Greater Lakes Evaluation and Treatment Center. Currently, I’m rocking the role of inpatient nursing manager at Cascade Community Healthcare. I’m also currently working towards my certification in psychiatric mental health nursing (PHM-BC) because you can never stop learning, right? When I’m not saving the world, you can find me kayaking, reading, or sneaking in some sun in Mexico with my family. I’m a BLS certified Red Cross instructor, and I’m always ready to lend a hand (or a humorous anecdote) just don’t ask me to whisper, that’s just not my style.
