Our internship provides an immersive learning experience, offering students the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a community-based setting. Interns will gain hands-on experience in a variety of therapeutic, case management, and administrative functions, while developing a deeper understanding of the challenges and rewards of working in community behavioral health.

Key Program Highlights:

  • Real-World Experience: Interns will engage in direct service delivery, including client assessments, treatment planning, and case management under the supervision of licensed clinicians and behavioral health professionals.
  • Learning Opportunities: Participate in training sessions, workshops, and group supervision to enhance clinical skills, ethical decision-making, and cultural competence in the field.
  • Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work with a diverse team of mental health professionals, social workers, and community stakeholders to provide holistic care to individuals and families.
  • Supportive Environment: Receive regular supervision and guidance to foster professional growth, including opportunities for feedback and skill-building in a collaborative setting.
  • Impactful Work: Interns contribute to the agency’s mission to improve mental health and wellness within the community, helping to empower individuals to live fulfilling and meaningful lives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in community behavioral health and working with diverse populations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
