Services | Expanded Community Services (ECS)

The Expanded Community Services program provides behavior support to individuals in Adult Family Homes, helping them remain in their community placement.

Participation in this program requires a referral from Home and Community Services.

The Expanded Community Services (ECS) program serves individuals who reside in Adult Family Homes who hold the Expanded Community Services contract in Lewis, Thurston, and Cowlitz. The Behavior Support Specialists work directly with the individual, Adult Family Home staff, behavioral health providers, PCPs, Home and Community Services, Crisis teams, and other contacts to support the individual in their community placement. A Behavior Support Plan and Crisis Plan is used to manage challenging behaviors to decrease the risk of hospitalizations and ensure community placement is successful.
