Cascade’s Criminal Justice Program provides free behavioral health and substance use services to individuals in jail, offering counseling, psychiatric care, and reentry support.
Cascade’s Criminal Justice Program consists of jail based behavioral health services that are provided to individuals who are incarcerated free of charge. Services are provided both at the Lewis County Jail and Lewis County Juvenile Detention Center. Mental health services include; counseling, crisis services, therapy, and intake assessments. The Criminal Justice Program provides an option for psychiatric evaluations and psychiatric medications. Substance use disorder treatment is available for people that are experiencing incarceration, which includes assessments, groups, and individual based services. Resource services include connecting individuals with education, employment, and community based resource opportunities. For individuals releasing from jail there are services to assist that person with their transition back into the community while supporting individuals with behavioral health engagement. Family members of someone incarcerated can contact the Criminal Justice Program with concerns for their loved one.
